Leave of Absence

Family and Medical Leave of Absence (FMLA)
  • Those eligible: full-time, part-time and ECB employees
  • Eligible after 12 months of employment and 1,250 hours worked prior to leave of absence
  • Up to 12 weeks leave with retention of benefits and job following a temporary absence required due to birth or placement of a child or serious medical condition of employee, spouse, child or parent (in accordance with policy)
  • Leaves are subject to approval by absence management company based on DOL guidelines
 
Military Leave of Absence (LOA)
  • All employees who are engaged in the uniform services
  • Leave approval in accordance with USERRA guidelines
 
Medical Leave of Absence (MLOA)
  • Those eligible: full-time and part-time employees not eligible for FMLA or have exhausted their FMLA
  • Leaves are subject to approval by absence management company
