Intake Coordinator

Educational Requirements: Completion of a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling or related behavioral health field.
 
In order to qualify for Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) licensure you must have at least a master’s degree in counseling or a mental health degree and 3,000 hours of supervision under the guidance of an approved supervisor. You must pass the state board exam. IS THIS INFO FOR BOTH?

In order to qualify for a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) you must have at least a master’s degree in social work from an Oklahoma State Board approved social work program and 4,000 hours, of experience in the practice of clinical social work under professional supervision of a licensed clinical social worker. You must pass the state board exam. IS THIS INFO FOR BOTH?

Typical Duties: An Intake Counselor provides clinical assessment and crisis intervention services to persons seeking treatment at Laureate Psychiatric Clinic & Hospital. They meet with prospective patients to evaluate clinical situation, with emphasis on identifying clinical risk factors and provides supportive, crisis-oriented counseling when appropriate.
