​Those perusing a career in exercise physiology generally oversee the analysis, improvement and maintenance of health and fitness programs. They enjoy a variety of work environments including cardiac rehab and sports training.

Exercise Physiologists

Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Health, Exercise Physiology or related field.

License Requirements: None

Typical Duties: Provide patient care as directed by registered physical therapist (RPT) or physical therapy assistant (RPTA). Confers with the person(s) most closely associated with the active management of the patient and keeps them informed of any additional patient needs and/or progress.
