The Occupational Therapy field focuses on the use of treatments to develop, recover or maintain the daily living and work skills of people with a physical, mental or developmental condition. 
 
 

Occupational Therapy Assistant

Educational Requirements: Associate's degree in Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.

License Requirements: Valid State of Oklahoma Licensure in Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Typical Duties: Provides clinical patient care by administering appropriate treatment as assigned by the occupational therapist. Provides documentation by maintaining appropriate treatment records. Provides expert instructions to patients, patients' families, and students. Responsible for upkeep of equipment and resource materials.

 

Occupational Therapist

Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

License Requirements: Valid State of Oklahoma Licensure in Occupational Therapy.

Typical Duties: Provides clinical patient care by administering appropriate treatment. Progresses patient treatment as appropriate. Provides documentation by maintaining appropriate treatment records. Provides expert instruction to patients, family, and students. Responsible for upkeep of equipment and resource materials.
