Physical Therapy Assistant

Educational Requirements: Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
 
License Requirements: Valid State of Oklahoma Licensure in Physical Therapist Assistant.
 

Typical Duties:
  Provides clinical patient care by administering appropriate treatment. Completes patient records in a timely manner. Provides instruction (teaching) to patients and/or family members.
 
 

Physical Therapist

Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
 
License Requirements: Valid State of Oklahoma License to Practice Physical Therapy.
 
Typical Duties: Provides clinical patient care by initiating and administering appropriate treatment, progressing patient treatment as appropriate, and carrying patient load that reflects productivity standards. Evaluates patients accurately. Plans appropriate treatment. Sets and meets functional goals. Revises and progresses treatment program as goals are met. Provides instruction (teaching) to patients and/or family members, as well as other healthcare providers.
