Educational Requirements: High School graduate or GED equivalent with completion of a certified Radiologic Technology Program.
License Requirements: American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certified or the equivalent state licensure.
Typical Duties: The Mammographer works under the general supervision of a Radiologist in performing diagnostic procedures for patients. Performs screening mammography. Demonstrates specialty skills and knowledge necessary to perform diagnostic and interventional mammography. Meets continuing education requirements.
