Medical Director and Attending Physician, Laureate Eating Disorders Program, adult program
Katherine Godwin, M.D., has served as medical director and attending physician of the adult eating disorders program since 2010. She joined the program as medical director of outpatient services in 2008. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has been practicing at Laureate since 2005. Dr. Godwin received her medical degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and completed her residency in psychiatry (including a year serving as chief resident) at the University of California, San Diego. She oversees the care of the women staying at Magnolia House and their continuing care while in Tulsa, in addition to maintaining a general adult outpatient psychiatry practice. Dr. Godwin encourages her patients to participate actively in treatment decisions and work together in obtaining optimal symptom management.
