Commitment to Community

"No act of benevolence toward one's fellow man, however small, is ever completely wasted."                         W.K. Warren

Commitment to Tulsa and the surrounding area has always been a vital component of Saint Francis Health System’s very existence. Saint Francis’ spirit of giving affects many different aspects of the surrounding community and the people who live there.

The William K. Warren Foundation, a non-profit corporation, has contributed gifts and bequests to various charitable entities, such as tax-exempt corporations and community chests. Over the years, The William K. Warren Foundation has donated to many local organizations including The Parent Child Center of Tulsa, Tulsa Senior Services, Alzheimer’s Association - Oklahoma Chapter, Mental Health Association in Tulsa, the Tulsa Education Fund, Child Abuse Network and Goodwill Industries of Tulsa, Inc.

Saint Francis Health System supports the Tulsa Area United Way, a vital part of the Tulsa community. Each year, Health System employees donate thousands of dollars to help fund local United Way projects and services. Supporting the United Way in its annual fundraising is an important part of Saint Francis Health System’s commitment to the community.

Saint Francis Health System also maintains a visible impact within the community by offering a vast array of free classes and educational opportunities. Saint Francis provides various free screenings for anxiety, depression, strokes as well as many other health-related concerns and issues.

In addition, Saint Francis Health System participates in the local Adopt-A-School program. This program partners local organizations or companies with schools in the community to provide support on various projects and educational endeavors.

Giving back to the community and to the people who have given so much to it, is a high priority at Saint Francis Health System. It’s not just a way of conducting business, it’s a way of life.
