Stan Schwartz, M.D.
Medical Director - Warren Clinic
Dr. Schwartz was a native New Yorker who only ventured as far west as Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for residency and fellowship after completing medical school in New York City. Stationed in Oklahoma in the military for two years, he tried moving back east, but missed the open spaces and big skies of Oklahoma. He returned to Oklahoma permanently more than 25 years ago and started an infectious diseases group practice that he managed until becoming the Medical Director of Warren Clinic in 2004.
Saint Francis Health System is a well-respected nonprofit institution in northeastern Oklahoma that has been under the same ownership for nearly 50 years. Schwartz says, "As an integrated health delivery system with great financial stability, Saint Francis and Warren Clinic allow physicians to do what they do best: Concentrate on treating patients in a mission-driven, value-oriented healthcare system."
