If your doctor’s office is closed or unavailable, please call 911 if there is a potentially life-threatening emergency. For problems that are less severe, but still require attention before the following business day, visit one of the urgent care centers listed below.
Some conditions that can be treated at an urgent care center include:
• Abdominal pain
• Accidents and falls
• Back problems
• Bleeding/cuts that require stitches – excessive bleeding should be treated in
the emergency room
• Breathing difficulties
• High fever
• Mild to moderate asthma
• Severe sore throat or cough
• Sprains and broken bones
• Vomiting, diarrhea or dehydration
