A digital screening mammogram is a routine annual mammogram for women without any clinical symptoms. Screening mammograms can be completed at our Tulsa or Broken Arrow location. Screening mammograms are read by our radiologists after you have left the facility.

If a problem is identified by you or your primary doctor, or if a problem is found on your screening mammogram, you will be scheduled for a digital diagnostic mammogram at the Saint Francis Breast Center. Special mammogram views will be studied and many times ultrasound will also be needed. After the radiologist has reviewed your images, you will be given the results and recommendations on the day of your work-up.

If something is suspicious in the work-up the radiologist may discuss biopsy options at this time. If additional follow -up appointments are required, our Breast Center staff will assist you in making them.
