Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy is form of rehabilitation that helps target and restore motor functions through specialized exercise and movement activities. Occupational therapy may be used with those who have short-term memory problems, spinal cord injuries, muscular disorders or other illnesses or injuries to teach patients daily living skills.
At Saint Francis Broken Arrow Outpatient Rehabilitation, an occupational therapist can also improve hand-eye coordination in patients with learning disabilities as well as teach exercises that help patients acquire more dexterity and strength so that difficult tasks may become simplified.
Outpatient occupational therapy is available Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. For more information about outpatient occupational therapy services, please call 451-5143.
