Emergency care that caters to children.
Time is precious when a child has
a medical emergency. The Children's Hospital at Saint Francis
created the Pediatric Emergency Center (PEC) in 2008 to provide
pediatric-specific emergency care for kids.
Under the leadership of Ethan Warlick, M.D., the PEC serves more
than 20,000 children each year. As a dad to his own three growing
kids, Dr. Warlick is keenly aware of the need to keep children
calm and as comfortable as possible. From the Lego figures
clipped on his stethoscope to his signature hooded sweatshirt, he
puts kids at ease and helps them smile, even in the emergency
center.
