Cardiac surgery for kids.

Our pediatric cardiac and thoracic surgery program is perhaps one of the most complex areas of our care. Because we wanted to create a world-class program, we sought out Hisashi Nikaidoh, M.D., in 2008 to lead this charge. Dr. Nikaidoh has an international reputation and invented a new surgical procedure that is known as "the Nikaidoh procedure." It's no overstatement to say we were thrilled when he joined our team in Tulsa. Married more than 30 years, Dr. Nikaidoh is a devout Christian who takes the time to pray with families and the surgical team before each surgery. His expertise and dedication are more than a gift to our patients - they're a gift to our city.
