Even though thought patterns and behaviors associated with anorexia, bulimia and other common eating disorders
are similar, the reasons people develop these symptoms are very different. That's why the Laureate Eating Disorders Program
offers multi-level care for our adult and adolescent patients--allowing us to tailor treatment to each patient’s unique needs.
Intensive Inpatient Eating Disorder Treatment Program
intensive inpatient eating disorder programs span acute, residential and partial hospital care. In each treatment level, patients keep the same therapist, physician and dietitian to ensure continuity of care.
Magnolia House Adult Transitional Program
The supported independent living option offered in Magnolia House
has become a renowned part of our eating disorder treatment program. Many women hold special appreciation for Magnolia House because it has allowed them to successfully bridge the gap between intensive treatment and everyday life, which in turn increases the chance of maintaining ongoing recovery.
In the outpatient eating disorder treatment program
, we provide comprehensive outpatient eating disorder counseling and care, including psychotherapy, medication management and nutrition therapy services for patients who complete the intensive program and for those who do not require intensive treatment.
Laureate contracts with most major insurance carriers
