Senior Mental Health

The Laureate Senior Behavioral Health program is designed to treat older adults, ages 60 and older, who are experiencing severe emotional distress, significant psychological difficulties, or complications from dementia that impact social functioning behaviors. Our caring team of mental health professionals will help guide you through an individual treatment plan to stabilize the current symptom while maintaining or improving physical, mental and social functioning.


Mental Health Services for Older Adults

At Laureate Psychiatric Clinic and Hospital, we provide excellent mental health treatment in a caring and compassionate inpatient atmosphere. Our Senior Behavioral Health unit provides a two tract program to best meet your needs.

Tract One addresses acute or chronic mental illness and a history of substance abuse. Some of the conditions and diagnoses treated include:
Tract Two will help you with moderate to severe dementia. Some of the conditions and diagnoses treated include:
  • Alzheimer's disease
  • Lewy Body Dementia
  • Other dementias
