Quality Initiatives

Identifying the right healthcare provider for your needs is an important decision. There are a number of sources for comparing hospital quality. One source you may find helpful is the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). As an agency of the US Department of Health and Human Services, CMS offers quality measures that illustrate how often hospitals provide some of the recommended care to get the best results for the most patients. You can learn more by visiting www.hospitalcompare.hhs.gov.

It is also reassuring to know that all Saint Francis Health System entities are fully accredited by The Joint Commission. We embrace the high standards of quality required to attain this accreditation and maintain a constant state of readiness for future visits from the Joint Commission. You can find out more about the accreditation process by visiting www.jointcommission.org. In addition to our quality initiatives required to maintain our Joint Commission accreditation, Saint Francis Health System has a number of other quality initiatives that we pursue to continue to provide our patients with the highest quality of care possible. The links below highlight some of our efforts.
