Emergency Room

The emergency room at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK, a Level II Trauma Emergency Center (TEC), provides initial treatment to patients with a broad spectrum of illnesses or injuries, some of which may be life-threatening and require immediate attention.

Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, our team of doctors, nurses and various other emergency-trained professionals works diligently to assess your condition and get you the most appropriate treatment - as quickly as possible.

Upon emergency room arrival, all patients are assessed by a registered nurse to determine how critical their condition is. This process, known as triage, allows patients with more severe injuries to be seen before those with less severe conditions.

The emergency care center team and inpatient staff members provide immediate consultations and care to trauma victims. In addition, they provide educational programs, conferences and continuing education courses for doctors, nurses, advanced practitioners and the community.

In the event of a non-emergency, please visit one of our urgent care centers or your primary care doctor.
