You have just received the good news that you are having a baby! We know that newborns need all the love and attention they can get. Our expectant family program is here to:
- prepare parents and families for the arrival of a new addition.
- share in the excitement of the birthing process.
Our instructors are registered nurses, certified childbirth educators and certified breastfeeding consultants. Classes offered will help parents learn about the pregnancy, lend guidance on breastfeeding, provide information on vaginal and Cesarean births and teach pain control methods. Family involvement is important to us, so we have designed a class specifically for grandparents and siblings.
We recommend enrollment for classes by your 5th month of pregnancy. Most classes have a maximum attendance of 12 couples. Please call 918-494-BABY for availability.
• Saint Francis Hospital (61st & Yale)
Classes meet in the Education department on the east side of the hospital.

In Case of Bad Weather
Classes may be cancelled in for snow and ice events.
If your classes have been cancelled, a recorded message
will be available after 4:00 pm. Please call 918-494-BABY (2229)
after 4:00 p.m. for status of your class.
When your special day arrives to deliver, your comfort and
convenience are a priority from the moment you arrive at the
hospital until after you return home. Our staff is dedicated to
providing a family-centered birthing experience where you
will feel as comfortable as possible during your stay in the
hospital.
