Heart Services
Soon after Saint Francis Hospital opened its doors in 1960, a commitment was made to develop a premier heart program for the people of northeastern Oklahoma, providing the latest advancements, the most capable physicians and the most promising treatments. This commitment led to the cultivation of a well-respected cardiology program, the Saint Francis Heart Center, which offers all ranges of care, from same-day procedures to a Medicare-approved heart transplant program.
In response to the area’s growing need for cardiology services, doors opened to the Saint Francis Heart Hospital in April 2004. This unique partnership between Saint Francis Health System and the largest number of heart specialists in the region means Saint Francis heart services are available in two locations.
