Commitment to Quality

Saint Francis Hospital South is dedicated to providing quality care to its patients. Quality committees made up of nurses, physicians, medical specialists and other staff, meet on a regular basis to monitor and improve quality measures. Saint Francis Hospital South opened June 25, 2007 and doesn’t yet have data to publish relative to its quality as compared to data from other hospitals around the country. Data will be gather in the coming months in order to benchmark against national peers and to help achieve top performance.

Saint Francis Hospital South also uses the opinions of its patients to improve quality and service. Saint Francis Hospital measures patient satisfaction through a survey system developed by Professional Research Consultants Inc. A random sample of discharged patients are surveyed each week by telephone and the percent of patient responses of "Excellent" are compared against other PRC client hospitals around the country. Survey results are presented monthly to staff and management and help direct efforts to improve the patient experience at Saint Francis Hospital South.
