Pediatric Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

Warren Clinic Plastic Surgery, in conjunction with The Children's Hospital at Saint Francis, provides a full range of pediatric plastic surgery and reconstructive surgery options in a warm, child-friendly environment. Our team, led by Paul A. Berry, M.D., and Kevin P. Kunkel, M.D., combines a multidisciplinary approach, state-of-the-art procedures and specialized training to care for our most precious patients.

Specialties include:

  • Birth defects: addressing developmental abnormalities such as skin lesions, hand and feet malformations and head, neck and facial conditions, like cleft palate.

  • Cancer reconstruction: correcting damage to a child's appearance from cancer and related treatments; specialties include skin revision after radiation or surgical scarring, would coverage and reconstructive surgery after skin cancer removal.

  • Trauma care: providing expert care and repair following a serious injury, including procedures for facial fractures and lacerations, lower extremity salvage, wound coverage and burn scar revisions.

  • After care: providing expert guidance to help parents care for their child's wound after leaving the hospital.

Personalized Care for Our Youngest Patients

From initial consultation to the operating room and recovery, at Warren Clinic Plastic Surgery your child's well-being comes first.

Fathers themselves, our pediatric plastic surgery specialists understand the special needs and concerns of our young patients. To help alleviate any discomfort, Drs. Berry and Kunkel frequently use products such as dissolving stitches and no-stick bandages, which require little to no touching of the wound after surgery. They also schedule operations around the age and unique needs of each child, and strive to keep the office waiting room stay to a minimum, while still spending the time needed with each family to answer any and all questions.

You can help make your little one's experience positive by preparing your child for plastic or reconstructive surgery.
