Dr. Kunkel is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He performs both reconstructive and cosmetic surgeries on adult and pediatric clients.

Growing up in north central Texas, Dr. Kunkel was taught the value of hard work and the importance of dedication and goal setting. He followed his calling to become a comprehensive adult and pediatric plastic surgeon which brought him to Tulsa and the Saint Francis Health System. Dr. Kunkel considers himself a patient advocate first and a physician second. Any surgery, including cosmetic and reconstructive surgery is not something to take lightly, and because of this belief, Dr. Kunkel encourages clients to obtain a second opinion from another board certified plastic surgeon so they are confident in their choice.

Dr. Kunkel believes the most important part of the patient visit is when he listens and is dedicated to addressing all questions and concerns from pre-op to post-op. Patient education is very important at Warren Clinic Plastic Surgery and Dr. Kunkel is dedicated to providing information in terms that clients can understand as well as to educate them on topics for which they are seeking council. Regardless of the procedure, Dr. Kunkel is with his patients every step of the way from performing Botox injections to removing stitches.

Brenda McKinney

As Dr. Kunkel's clinical assistant and surgical technologist, Brenda McKinney assists patients and Dr. Kunkel during the consultation and surgery process. She also performs microdermabrasion and light peels. She has spent the last thirty years in the medical field. The last 15 years Ms. McKinney has focused on skincare and considers herself fortunate that her passion and work life coincide. "This is my passion," she says, "I love what I do and can't imagine doing anything else."

Outside of the office Ms. McKinney is the proud parent of two married sons and is "grandma" to one wonderful grandson. She gained two step children and three more grandchildren when she married "the love of my life, Joe." She enjoys spending time with family, gardening, riding the Harley with Joe and traveling.

Kayla Damet

Ms. Damet takes care of scheduling and day-to-day activities at the front desk of Warren Clinic Plastic Surgery. Before coming to Warren Clinic she worked in medical records for a nursing home; it's there her love for the medical field began and she chose to return to school. She is a graduate of Community Care College with an associate degree in Health Service Administration.

Originally from Verdigris, OK, Ms. Damet is married and now lives in Tulsa, OK. She couldn’t imagine being in a different field. "There isn’t anything better than helping people in need," she says. "My father raised me to work hard, and he told me, 'if you want it, go get it.' " In her spare time Ms. Damet enjoys playing coed softball and spending time with her family.

Christina Goad

Responsible for insurance and obtaining prior authorizations, Ms. Goad works at the front desk of Warren Clinic Plastic Surgery. Prior to coming to Warren Clinic, she was a nurse aide in a nursing home. Ms. Goad has an associate degree in Science for pre-nursing from Tulsa Community College.

Born and raised in Tulsa, OK, Ms. Goad and her husband Cody are the proud owners of Siamese cats and a pit bull. She enjoys spending time with her family, snowboarding, playing board games and cards. Her passion is helping and caring for patients and their family members. Ms. Goad’s work ethic is driven by the Golden Rule: treat others as you would like to be treated.
