Our 24-month, system-wide Administrative Fellowship is designed to cultivate the next generation of healthcare leaders through immersive, hands-on experience across every corner of our organization.

Executive Mentorship And Preceptorship

At Saint Francis Health System, you won’t just observe leadership—you’ll be mentored by it. Each fellow is paired with a dedicated executive preceptor during every rotation. These senior leaders provide direct mentorship, strategic insight and real-time feedback to help you grow as a healthcare leader.

Eligibility Requirements

We’re looking for passionate, driven individuals ready to lead in healthcare. To be eligible for the Saint Francis Health System Administrative Fellowship, applicants must have graduated from a program accredited by one of the following:

  • CAHME – Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education
  • CEPH – Council on Education for Public Health
  • AACSB – Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business

Application Process

Ready to take the next step in your leadership journey? Applications for the Saint Francis Health System Administrative Fellowship are accepted through the National Administrative Fellowship Centralized Application Service (NAFCAS).

Key Dates:

  • Application Window: July – September
  • Interviews: Conducted in October
  • Fellowship Start Date: June (two-year program begins)

Applications must be submitted through the NAFCAS website during the application window, and the following materials will be required:

  • One-page personal statement sharing your interest in healthcare administration and why you're drawn to Saint Francis
  • Current resume highlighting your academic and professional achievements
  • Two letters of recommendation: one from a professional reference and one from an academic reference
  • Official graduate transcript
  • Unofficial undergraduate transcript
