The Saint Francis Regional Patient Transfer Center is here to help connect and facilitate getting your patient to emergency or acute care and transfer through one phone call.
By making one call to 918-502-1000, or with an order submitted through EpicConnect, our team will evaluate and facilitate the transfer/bed request whether it be to a Saint Francis hospital site or another hospital in Tulsa or the surrounding area.
The Regional Patient Transfer Center can:
- Facilitate the transfer of adult, pediatric and neonatal patients
- Provide a single point of contact to coordinate transfer options
- Provide physician or APRN assessment as needed
- Connect with more than one health system as needed for bed availability
- Save your team multiple calls to regional facilities to find a bed for the patient
How It Works
We make it easy to transfer your patient, so they can get the care that they need. Patients can be transferred by following a six-step process:
- A hospital needs to transfer a patient
- Call our transfer center at 918-502-1000 or enter ADT35 order via EpicConnect
- Our transfer center team immediately responds to perform a patient assessment
- If necessary, a clinical consult will take place with the transfer physician
- Our transfer center facilitates the transfer
- Referring facility coordinates transfer to receiving hospital
