Our Mission
The Nurse Residency Program at Saint Francis Health System extends the healing ministry of Christ by fostering excellence, integrity, and compassion in newly licensed nurses. Through mentorship, evidence-based education, and structured professional development, we support a confident transition into practice and promote lifelong learning.
By cultivating behavioral, technical, and compassionate skill sets, we prepare a highly engaged and accountable nursing workforce ready to meet the evolving needs of our patients, teams, and community. Our program instills confidence, trust, and hope, ensuring every nurse is equipped to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Rooted in the mission and values of Saint Francis and guided by the vision of lighting the way to a healthier tomorrow, we inspire new nurses to ignite change within themselves, their teams, and their communities.
Our Vision
To develop confident, capable, and resilient nurses who demonstrate leadership at the bedside and contribute meaningfully to patient outcomes, team performance, and professional excellence across Saint Francis Health System.
