Saint Francis Hospital South Expansion

With the expansion of the hospital and the addition of a new patient tower, Saint Francis Hospital South is growing to meet the needs of its community.

Opened in 2008, Saint Francis Hospital South provides patients with a wide variety of services that include emergency care, cardiology, pulmonology, orthopedics, labor and delivery, surgical services, primary and specialty care and more. The hospital is currently licensed for 104 beds and provides patients in Tulsa and the surrounding area with convenient and comprehensive care.

The expansion project began in 2019 with the new and expanded front door. Major infrastructure updates followed with the construction of a new patient bed tower which will expand bed capacity and clinical space, increase critical care, increase progressive care and medical/surgical capacity, feature a new, larger hospital lobby, chapel and coffee shop, as well as new food service and dining space for patients, visitors and employees.

Patients can expect improved access to care and services, including:

  • Expanded hospital infrastructure
  • New main lobby and hospital chapel
  • New patient tower and additional bed capacity and clinical space
  • Expansion of critical care units
  • Expansion of cardiology services
  • Expansion of orthopedic services
  • New operating room space for additional surgical capacity
  • Expansion of imaging services
  • Additional patient/visitor parking
