CLIMB® is an internationally recognized program from the Children's Treehouse Foundation. This emotional support program is offered through the Saint Francis Cancer Center for children and teens ages 6-18 whose parents are diagnosed with cancer. All children are welcome, no matter where their parents are seeking treatment.
Through this program, our trained facilitators teach participants about cancer, how to decrease the sense of isolation and how to communicate and cope with their feelings.
This program is FREE because we firmly believe that stronger families make stronger survivors.
The CLIMB® Support Group meets at the Saint Francis Cancer Center, 11212 East 48th Street, Tulsa, OK 74146. We gather weekly for five or six sessions from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
Topics include:
- All About Me
- What is Cancer?
- It's OK to Feel Sad
- Cancer Can Be Scary
- It's Not Fair!
- I Love You (graduation ceremony)
