Saint Francis Hospital Vinita Celebrates 10 Years of Serving the Community

Rural hospital marks a decade of growth, expanded services and care close to home.

Saint Francis Hospital Vinita is celebrating its 10th anniversary, marking a decade of providing quality healthcare to Vinita and the surrounding communities in Craig and Delaware counties.

Since opening its doors, the hospital has grown alongside the community it serves. It has expanded services, enhanced diagnostic capabilities, introduced new service lines and adapted existing programs to meet patients' changing healthcare needs.

"Each improvement over the past 10 years represents our commitment to ensuring that quality healthcare remains close to home," said Melinda Culp, executive director of Saint Francis Hospital Vinita. "I'm incredibly proud of the remarkable growth of this hospital and of the people who made it possible."

Rural hospitals serve as more than places where medical care is provided. They are lifelines, gathering places and symbols of hope, connecting communities and offering reassurance that help is never far away. For 10 years, Saint Francis Hospital Vinita, Warren Clinic Vinita and the Health Centers in Langley and Monkey Island have proudly filled that role.

Culp credits the hospital's success to its team members, whose compassion and dedication strengthen the trust the community places in the hospital every day.

"Whether through a kind word, a healing touch or an extra effort to meet patient needs, our team goes above and beyond for this community," Culp said. "As we celebrate 10 years of service, we also celebrate them. Together, we've built something special, and we look forward to caring for this community for many years to come."

Everyone at Saint Francis Hospital Vinita and the entire Vinita community is invited to celebrate the hospital's 10-year anniversary with a tailgate party.

There will be free food and drinks, trunk or treating, games and flu shots provided.

The event will be in the parking lot of the hospital from 4 - 6 p.m. on October 30, before the Hornets football game.
