I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I have over 15 years of nursing experience having worked in diverse clinical and non-clinical areas including case management and med-surg nursing. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Public Health overseas and attended Graduate School through Wikes University in Pennsylvania. I have worked as an inpatient psychiatric nurse at Laureate Psychiatric Clinic and Hospital in the adult behavioral unit while also floating to the senior geriatric units providing mental health services.

I provide treatment across life span with a focus on mood disorders, depression, anxiety, psychotic disorders, medical-assisted substance use treatment (MAT), ADHD, PTSD, and other chronic mental illness through medication management and psychotherapeutic intervention. I believe in creating an individualized plan of care that’s client-focused, builds on interprofessional collaboration, and anchored on evidence-based practice. The goal for my clients is to feel empowered to tackle their illness in a supportive and stigma free environment.

A client can expect their initial visit to include a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, determination of treatment goals, education about diagnosis, and available treatment options. A consideration portion of the visit will also involve building a therapeutic rapport which is central to the realization of set goals.

Aside from Psychiatry, I enjoy time with my family watching movies and traveling while also serving as an Elder at First Presbyterian Church Tulsa together with volunteer work with a non-profit organization that empowers families with children with disabilities where I serve as the Board Chairman.
