Dr. Berkman provides comprehensive care for newborns, infants, children and teenagers with urologic needs. He provides evaluation and treatment of kidney and bladder issues such as hydronephrosis, vesicoureteral reflux, ureteral abnormalities, urinary stones, urinary tract infections, neurogenic bladder and urethral anomalies. He also sees and treats genital issues such as undescended testes, hydroceles, hypospadias, chordee and phimosis.

Dr. Berkman received his medical degree from the University of Texas at Dallas Southwestern. He did an internship in general surgery and residency in urology at Baylor College of Medicine. He completed a fellowship in pediatric urology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a diplomate of the American Urological Association.
