MASH

What is MASH?

The Medical Academy for Students in Healthcare is a two-week camp for high school students interested in health careers. Students will be exposed to several hospital departments and will interact with physicians, nurses, medical technologists, radiology technologists and respiratory therapists. During the program, students learn about physical assessments, casting, suturing, medical terminology and more. For questions, call 918-501-0069

2025 Program Details

  • Program is July 14-25
  • Student must be a junior or senior for the 2025-2026 school year 
  • Student must have completed one biology class
  • Student transcript and GPA are considered in the selection process 
  • Student must have recommendation from school personnel
  • Selected students must attend an interview session with the selection committee
  • Selected students are required to attend the entire MASH session
  • Selected students are required to attend the MASH orientation on July 10
  • Day is from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m (approximate times)
  • Lunch is provided for students
  • MASH Celebration will be Friday, July 25
